What is an Inspiration Session?

Simple. Our Inspiration Sessions are simply creative ideas that keep us inspired about our work and our art. It's also an opportunity for our clients to participate in really fun sessions at greatly reduced rates.

We like to think of it as a creative win-win situation.

Sessions include the creative time of the photographer and an online gallery for 30 days. Proof-packs may be purchased for $35.

Our time only allows us to do a few inspiration sessions a month, so inquire early if you would like to schedule a session.

Current Inspiration Session Options

Here are the latest session options. Most sessions are $100 unless otherwise noted.

Sessions are available first-come first-served. In most cases sessions will not be repeated so be aware that the sessions listed will not always be available.

Please read the description and any requirements to determine if a session might be a good fit for you. Sessions are available as our schedule allows. As with all of our sessions, a signed model release and full payment is required at the time of the session. Contact us here or give us a call to discuss scheduling a session.

A girl, a white dress and boots.
cowboy boots, puddle boots, army boots... any kind of boots. This shoot will involve locations with lots of color. A great smile and happy disposition are definitely a plus.

Urban Kids
1-3 kids ages 5-15 in an urban warehouse setting. Peeling paint, a little grunge, maybe a loading dock... this is no Olan Mills portrait session. Children should be responsive and able to follow basic instructions. Desire to ham it up for the camera is a plus.

Prom Night
Senior Girls, put that prom dress back on for an editorial/fashion session around Minneapolis. This will be a really fun session.
You should be willing to sit down in your dress, and if you're not afraid of getting it a little dirty that's even better!

Night Portraits on the Mississippi
We'll be playing with lights for this one. Starting at twilight we'll be shooting some portraits using the city lights as a dramatic backdrop. This is a great session for H.S. Seniors, Engaged Couples, and Models looking to add to their portfolio.

Football Under the Lights
For football or soccer players (football for the rest of the world), this will be an outdoor portrait session using dramitic lighting to create a unique look. Player will need a full uniform as well as the ball. Ages 12 to Adult. You are welcome to bring a friend in uniform as well.
